Recently, I've made the decision to change the name of my website. It's been a hard decision given that I liked Heart Serenity, the name that I had previously chosen. However, I've observed that the term "serenity" tends to be closely linked with New Age philosophy - which doesn't align with my direction or goal when creating this website. Respectfully, my beliefs differ from New Age philosophy and I also felt like search results for my site may become lost in a sea of New Age resources and terminology.

This brings me to announcing the new name for my creative space.
Still Never Lost. I drew inspiration from something I wrote long ago...

Remember to cherish the moments of your life, whether significant or subtle. They will exist but once, then pass as a shadow into memory; still never lost, nor held too tightly - lest we miss the journey's next bend.

I'm content with the unique sound of the new name. It is both whimsical and meaningful. If you find yourself looking back at your past work you may just see it anew with a fresh perspective and at times, that can be enough to lead you forward to your next creative spark.

What the phrase means in the context of my site is that in light of eternity, what we do here is perhaps somewhat insignificant, yet God had intent in creating this life - otherwise He wouldn't have done so in this particular way.

His plan is much bigger than what any one of us can see or even fathom, but I believe that where God leads us here and all that He calls us to is still never lost even through the scope of eternity. After all, King David said of God,

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." - Psalm 56:8

It's all recorded. Even our sorrows. God is the Author of Life. Humanity has, thus far, lived in the prologue and the beginning chapters. The chapters which I share with you in this journal - my writing, art, projects, etc. - are a part of my story that God has written in His book. I've felt a call on my heart to share them and that's exactly what this space is for; whether it's joy, hope, inspiration, trials, failures or sorrow. And though we experience sorrow, before I close this entry, I would also like to remind you of this promise from God,

"For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes." - Revelation 7:17

While we look forward in the hope and promises of all that is to come, never forget that life is in the moments - still never lost.

Note: There may be some broken links and missing pages while I am in the process of moving the site over to the new domain and host. I'll be working out the issues as quickly as is possible. Thanks for your understanding.
